Heart, Soul and Habit

Inside everyone who has ever and will ever walk the Earth is DNA complete with a Periodic Table from Junior High School Chemistry Class. We are all dirt, stardust, carbon, water and 90 or so Essential Vitamins, Minerals and Rare Earth Elements.

Simply stated, creating balance in this system is vitally important! Deficiencies exist, as well as gaps in understanding of how important inner-peace is to health, wellness and happiness.

The Brain Said: I am the smartest organ in the body.

The Heart Replied: Who told you?

The truth is we are very energetic and unique souls yet view the world as we see ourselves in the mirror rather than what's organically and inherently true deep down inside at perhaps a cellular level. Our heart tells us where to look next. That gut instinct providing the correct answer on that multiple question test we have all taken. The brain screws it all up.

In-fact, I believe nothing is more powerful than an individual soul set on fire with great heart, passion and drive to love, serve others or do something incredible. In-fact, when two-like-souls collide the friendship, love and energy is like no other, yet often wasted or very misunderstood.

Next, long after we have walked this Earth our spirits will remain strong. Soul is the purest form of human, human is the purest form of Earth and Galaxy, a certain energy that will exist in perpetuum.

H-A-B-I-T

When 95% of people hear this word, a negative thought pops up in their minds. Typically, most people think of a H A B I T being negative. The KEY to the UNIVERSE or at least the SECRET to the future lies in daily habits.

What do you consistently do each and every day? Now ask yourself right now, “Are my habits today going to help me achieve my WHY in life?” This is a life-empowering question if you are honest at core and willing to have a tough and on-going internal dialogue with self.

I am your constant companion. I am your greatest helper or your heaviest burden. I will push you onward or drag you down to failure. I am completely at your command.

Half the things you do, you might just as well turn over to me, and I will be able to do them quickly and correctly.

I am easily managed; you must merely be firm with me.

Show me exactly how you want something done, and after a few lessons I will do it automatically.

I am the servant of all great men. And, alas, of all failures as well. Those who are great, I have made great. Those who are failures, I have made failures.

I am not a machine, though I work with all the precision of a machine. Plus, the intelligence of a man.

You may run me for profit, or run me for ruin; it makes no difference to me.

Take me, train me, be firm with me and I will put the world at your feet.

Be easy with me, and I will destroy you.

Who am I?

I am your H-A-B-I-T-S

The truth is, we are all a product of the choices we make. Each habit creates the platform for better choices or equally awful choices failing to serve you.

Ultimately when there is nowhere else to turn, turn inward. Enter into the silence of your soul and ask for healing, guidance and personal peace. Ask tough questions at core and be firm with all internal commitments.

Never waiver with self, in leadership we suggest to never blow an uncertain trumpet. Listen to the potential or music from within. Next, go out and sing that song and don’t be afraid to dance!

Permanence, perseverance and persistence in spite of all obstacles, discouragements, and impossibilities: It is this distinguishing characteristic driving all potential and ultimate success.

Yet many are hard-wired to blame the world, to point fingers or to participate in the 6 - C’s and each one is cancerous to cultures and core to the human soul:

Complaining, Competing, Criticizing, Comparing, Contending, Cynicism.

Instead of participating in these six emotional cancers that straight-jacket entire business organizations let alone interpersonal relationships, dig deep and be honest at core with self.

The answer is never “out there.” Any excuse in-fact is the fragile human ego striving for the comfort of what’s most comfortable or know up to this point in time.

On that very front, when you think about it, the more we learn and experience, the more we inherently must realize how much we simply do not know. We have at our fingertips an ever-expanding universe of knowledge, experiences, and unlimited potential.

At core, deep down, our soul thrives when we drop E-G-O and move beyond F-E-A-R. Boy does a SWEET SPOT exist here.

Now begin to view yourself as a soul with a body rather than a body with a soul. The truth is we all sooner or later discover self, that we are the master-gardener of our soul, the director of our life, and responsible for our place in the world let alone most any situation.

Be the L-O-V-E you may seek.

Be the best version of yourself possible and never-ever live life in the rearview mirror.

Learn to laugh at your mistakes. Learn to never, ever make an excuse because the truth is nobody cares!

Learn to make firm commitments at core with self and to be totally honest with others about your intentions.

Yes, well, means Y-E-S.

Say "No" to someone or something does not mean you do not want to help or get after a challenge. It simply means right now, at core, there is no way you can give 110-percent of your energy or time to said commitment.

Learn to say "No."

Next, take time to do something you thoroughly enjoy. Pull out those drawing books and sketch. Walk over to the piano and work on a song you used to know. Write. Read. Exercise. Play.

We are not good to the world around us, if we are not first pure of heart, aware of the energy in our soul, and balanced.

By the way, I might suggest much of all of this coincides with our physical health. Think of yourself as an organic organism, because in-fact that's what we all are.

Finally, what environmental factors exist in your life you could do without? What kind of water do you drink? How do you water your heart and soul by the way? What nutrients exist in your soil? What nutrients are deficient in your soil to include joy, passion, excitement as well as vitamins, minerals and elements essential to life? Ultimately we are the sum average of the five closest people we include in our lives as well as what's on our daily menu.

Just my .03-cents this morning! Yours in Success and Happiness,

Peter D. Bouloukos
